Port Blair, Sep10: Union Territory Independent, a national news and views English fortnightly has stepped forward to launch here in Andaman.  With a rich experience of 25 years, highly circulated all over India, this fortnightly tabloid has two of the pages of content dedicated to the isles of Andamans. It is a fast growing newspaper in the country published from the national capital Delhi Besides the NCT of Delhi, it comprehensively covers the states and union territories viz.
